1979. From 1985 he works mainly as a lighting designer, but also
as set designer and director of Le chant des ténèbres (1997), Histoire de Babar (2000), L'enfant te le sortileges (2001), Peer Gynt
(2003), Ismene (2008), Phèdre (2013), Ajax (2015), I was looking at the cieling and then I saw the sky (2018), Madrigali, dialogues avec la lumière (2022). He has signed since now more then 200 performances in many european theatres; among the others:

Architectural and multimedia
Projects:
He designs lighting
for several exibitions and collaborates with many architects as a
light consultant. From 1988 on he writes many articles about his
work for the magazine « Lighting Design » . From 1994 on he
develops some computer programs for lighting consoles and moving
lights. As the outcome of these technology projects, he makes a
dynamic keyboard for the execution of light score of PROMETHEUS by
Alexander Scriabine , conducted by Pierre Bartholomée
(1995).
In 1998 Martin
Professional A-S
decides to become the worldwide distributor for ProScenium DMX,
the Multimedia Lighting Controller that Enrico Bagnoli has
started to develope in 1994. He is co-founder of Digimedia, a
multimedia software and hardware house. This Software is now
installed in 82 countries all over the world. Several hundreds of
ProScenium software are controlling lights and Multimedia in
Theatres, Exibitions, architectural installations, Museums.
He collaborates to
create the custom control system for some of the most important
architectural projects worldwide, as the Chicago Bridge Project (1999), the Los Angeles Airport project
(2000), Turkmenistan’s Monument of
Independence
(2000), and many others.
In 2004 the city of
Bruxelles ask him to design a new version of the traditional
Light Show - a 7 minutes Son et Lumieres
all the evenings from may to october - for the "Grande Place
de Bruxelles" on a music of the french composer Pierre
Henry.
In 2007 he lighted up
the inside and the outside of the "Palais
de Justice" of Bruxelles for the opening of the année judiciaire
2007.
Between
2014 and 2017 he partecipate as lighting designer at the conception of
the Theatre and the permanent acquatic show "La Perle" by Frando
Dragone in Dubai.
In 2009 he wins the Belgian Presse Critics Price for artistical and technical
creation of the performance "Ismene"
In 2014 he wins the Italian Presse Critics Price
"Premio Abbiati" for the set and the light of the performance "De Ring
des Nibelungen" by Richard Wagner codnducted by Daniel Barenboim in
Teatro alla Scala di Milano.
